Seguin Public Library Chess Club

The Seguin Public Library holds 2 chess events per month, providing patrons with an opportunity to learn and play chess in an informal setting. Chess boards and chess clocks are provided during each event. Both events are listed below:

Chess Junior: For ages 6-11 of all skill levels. Chess Junior is held in the story hour room at the Seguin Public Library every first Wednesday of the month. 

All Ages Chess Club: Patrons of any age and any skill level are welcome to attend this informal chess club! All Ages Chess is held in the community meeting room at the Seguin Public Library every 4th Thursday of the month. 

The Seguin Public Library hopes to spread the love of chess with these 2 clubs and aims to continue spreading the enjoyment of chess to all in the community!
