Beyond 'Just Chess'
What do you do when you're not playing chess?? This club is 'open' to all, but is not necessarily meant for everyone. I have been a teacher, and often a chess teacher (for beginners and intermediate level players) for over 50 years. Most chess players have a wide variety of other interests, and so far as they are interested in teaching, or otherwise sharing their knowledge and experience, this group is for them. However, direct, active participation, is not required. The group will not be directly involved in chess competition, but in broader considerations. I hope that chess will provide a common bond to start things off. In participating we only require that you engage in 'civil' discourse and keep an 'open mind'.
