Tips and tricks from me
1. You should probably not trade a bishop for a knight in the opening unless it is a very strong knight.
2. A bishop + pawns vs knight + pawns, usually, the knight wins.
3. Bishop pairs are favorable in the endgame.
4. Doubled pawns are a bad thing to have, usually.
5. Do puzzles every day (unless you have something important, I can understand that) to get better.
6. Err ! that annoying pin at the beginning of an opening. No worries, block the pin with a bishop or protect the knight with another knight (other pieces can work too) to develop while protecting the knight or unpinning the knight.
This is all I have for right now to share to you, I will continue to wright about tips and tricks.
