University of Newcastle Chess Club

The UON Chess Club was founded in 2014 for the purposes of: Providing a safe and structured environment for the casual play of Chess, and variations of Chess as deemed relevant by the Club, to its members. Facilitating education and tutelage in the rules, procedure, strategy, and tactics of Chess. Undertaking the development, training, and contesting of a university team for tournament competitions.
