Beating a Chess Master With Style! - YouTube

My name is John Bryant from California, USA. I'm an International Chess Master with 3 GM norms. I'm 32 years old. Here are some of my chess highlights:

2012 US Open 1st place, 4-time American Open Champion, 2-time Southern California State Champion, winner of over 100 Open tournaments
I've beaten many notable GMs in classical games including Ray Robson, Varuzhan Akobian, and Jon Ludvig Hammer. I have 3 GM norms.

I've been teaching chess for over 10 years to students ranging from beginner to master level. Generally, my training method is to analyze games, play training games, and go over instructional material. I look at my students' games to identify weaknesses, then I prepare lecture and training material to fix them.  I can handle all aspects of training, so the student can spend their time efficiently learning chess instead of having to figure out how to study chess. This includes assigning appropriate homework, comprehensive training plans, and sending annotated opening files with professional level quality for study. My opening expertise for white is 1. e4 openings: Sicilian Alapin, Rossolimo, Scotch, Ruy Lopez, French Tarrasch, 2 Knights Caro Kann. For Black: 1.e4 e5/Berlin Defense, Sicilian Najdorf, King's Indian Defense, Benoni, Queen's Gambit Declined. Each lesson is conducted via Skype. You can ask me questions any time outside of class via text messages or e-mail. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about my coaching, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] or text me at (760)338-8672.
