I am Pete. I was born and raised in Arizona. I've seen this state change so much in my 1002 plus years.  I've lived in Germany and traveled around the world many times. I only have Africa, Russia and the Artic Circles to say I've been everywhere. I like to read when my memory allows me to. I love my wife. I love my children and my 12 grandchildren. We now have a great-grandson. We couldn't be more happy. I love my dogs. I didn't like retirement at first but now I can't seem to get everything done in a day that needs to be done.  I've learned some very hard lessons life brings but feel I am stronger for those lessons. I use to play chess way back when and just got back into it. Sure isn't easy for me but I don't like to give up. My motto in life is, "if someone says you can't do that," I reply with 'watch me.'
