IM Christof Sielecki is a German international master and popular Chessable instructor. The 2022 Chessable Author of the Year, Sielecki began playing at age 13 and became a FIDE master at age 21. After a long grind, he earned the IM title at age 38, in 2012. Sielecki ran a YouTube channel called Chess Explained before starting with Chessable, where he has now published more than 30 courses, in 2016. Sielecki's teaching style has been described as having "easy to understand presentation" where "telling a story is crucial to effectively teaching chess."
