FUTA Chess Club

Mission: To foster a community of chess enthusiasts, promote critical thinking, and provide a platform for socialization and competition among students, faculty, and staff of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).

Objectives 

- To create a vibrant chess culture on campus

- To organize regular tournaments, workshops, and training sessions

- To represent FUTA in local, national, and international chess competitions

- To provide a relaxed environment for members to socialize and improve their chess skills

Membership: Open to all students, faculty, and staff of FUTA, regardless of skill level.
