We have launched with 30 videos in the library and will be adding 5-6 new videos each week - that's hours and hours of video instruction!

Here are a few great videos you should check out:

GM GMMelik Meeting GM Khachiyan: Exchange Sacrifice by GM GMMelik
GM Khachiyan goes over a remarkable game of his. Half a point behind his Grandmaster opponent in the last round, and with the black pieces, he went all out to create a sharp positional struggle that would give him chances to win the tournament. The game is full of deep ideas, surprising moves, excellent technique, a wealth of valuable insights, and a particular focus on the Exchange Sacrifice, a familiar weapon to Khachiyan as a pupil of the Tigran Petrosian School.

IM Shankland Shankland Teaches the Najdorf: 6.Bc4 part 1 by IM Shankland
Sam Shankland's series on the Najdorf Sicilian starts with a look at responding to 6.Bc4, the move championed by great Najdorf expert Bobby Fischer. Sam explains a defensive system for black based on a quick Nbd7-c5, defending e6 and giving black the option of trading white's b3 Bishop.

We hope you will enjoy the videos as much as we do!

Yes, I am the guy who started Chess.com (along with Jay, Igor, Piotr, and many others). I have 3 amazing daughters, one wild son, and a wonderful, patient wife! I learned chess when I was 8 years old. Since then I have been playing, studying, and enjoying it regularly. I prefer semi-open and closed positions that blow up tactically (like the Closed Sicilian, King's Indian, Glek etc).
