It's been only 3 weeks since Chess.com was born and things are going very well! We're growing quickly and have so many AMAZING members who have helped out in many ways. And while we're really excited about where we are, we could sure use your help! Here are 5 things you can do to help us out:

#1 - LINK TO US!
Do you have a blog or a website? If so, please link to us! If you aren't sure how to do that just paste this code below into your page:
<a href="http://www.chess.com">Chess.com Online Chess Community</a>

#2 - TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
Bring your friends to Chess.com - not only can you build your online chess network, but in just a few days you'll be able to play chess with them! Click here for the invite tool!

#3 - BE ACTIVE!
Don't just read the articles on Chess.com, make comments on them, rate them, and even create your own! Ask any question in the forums, write a blog about the last game you played, or let someone else know what you thought of what they wrote!

#4 - MAKE SUGGESTIONS!
Chess.com is a community effort! We want to know what you want to see on the site! Please post in the chess forums if you have ideas of what you want to see on the site.

#5 - ADD INFO!
Do you manage a club or run a tournament or own a store or coach other players? If so, get added to the Chess.com directories! It's free exposure to tens of thousands of chess players who are here looking for community and information.

Thank you all SO MUCH for your support!

Yes, I am the guy who started Chess.com (along with Jay, Igor, Piotr, and many others). I have 3 amazing daughters, one wild son, and a wonderful, patient wife! I learned chess when I was 8 years old. Since then I have been playing, studying, and enjoying it regularly. I prefer semi-open and closed positions that blow up tactically (like the Closed Sicilian, King's Indian, Glek etc).
