My big sister taught me to play chess when I was 7 years old and have been in and out of the game ever since. Then I taught my brother to play around the same time period. He acquired one of those giant chess sets incorporating a large chess rug and huge solid rubber pieces lol. We had a lot of fun with that set...it was a real novelty.
So here I am on chess.com at 68 yrs. old still playing this universal language called chess with people from all over the world...gotta love this game. Thanks chess.com and all who are keeping chess alive.
