I learned to play chess when I was 8 years old playing Battle Chess on IBM DOS in 1997. Two years later when I first got dial-up internet I started playing online chess on the Classic MSN Gaming Zone website, which at that time it was one of the most popular sites before those servers were shut in 2006.
I also enjoyed Chessmaster 9000 and Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition online back in 2009 but Ubisoft shut down the servers for all their chessmaster titles. For a few years I did not play chess online until I discovered this website as well as Lichess where my username is GoLdEnFLAME
