I joined this site a very long time ago, and have recently (late 2019) picked up a renewed interest with chess.. My father taught my twin brother and me how to play the game when we were 5 or 6 years old, and we've played chess just for fun for most of our lives. My father, my twin brother, and our stepmother are a lot stronger than I am with the game. However, on this site, my biggest problem has always seemed to be that I don't check on my games often enough to keep them from timing out! And even now--to my dismay--it appears that I haven't been able to buck that trend.
