Some 40 years back I embarked on the study of chess openings, tactics and strategy. I made scant headway from the books I poured over on these topics. In exasperation I many times set aside my efforts. Thus I remained little more than a beginner for over four decades.

Now an invigorating shift is taking place. Where I had for so long languished, I now flourish. I am progressing significantly with Chess Mentor and this is only my first month. At 63 years of age I am finally coming alive as a chess player. The wondrous interactivity at Mentor is making all the difference. My silver years are transitioning into a dig for chessboard gold and fine gemstones.  Cool!!
