It is night, and they are shadowed by the moon.

Raise your hand, unbar the iron gates.

Push forward the yeilding steel before you.

Enter in, lonely wonderer, it's not yet too late;

But whether to enter is for you to choose.

What you may find, and what you will learn

I cannot say, for that you alone know

Make haste, this life's torch will not forever burn

But whether you enter, wanderer, or no,

Once your earthly flame falls, think - where will you go?

Forest of Fables is a club for Christians who love fantasy, writing about fantasy, and writing, as well as those interested in learning about Christianity.

This is NOT a chess-focused club, but there may be some elements of that involved, depending on the interest of the members.
