I am a musician and a teacher, and I have been for 30 years give or take.  I sing, play piano, guitar, ukulele, and any other instrument I can get my hands on.  I love exploring music from all over the world.  I am also a published composer. I have been a chess enthusiast for many years and I collect unique chess sets.  I have been an advisor of my high school's chess club and I love to study the game.  

I especially love meeting friends who have passions in chess and music like me.  I am not a great player, but I follow the motto that "you can learn from every chess game that you play."  So I play. . .a lot.   : )
