IM Jovanka Houska is a former bronze medalist at both the World Youth Championships and the European Junior Championships. She went on improve on that by capturing gold in 2000 in the European Juniors. She has played for England in the Olympiad nearly every occasion except for one since 1998, twice leading her team to top 10 finishes. Her first British Championship came in 2008; she went on to win five in a row and added a few more in recent years.
