I was born in England and moved between there and Canada (southern Ontario) a couple of times.  I played on school team at Stamford Grammar School for boys when 11-14 yrs old.  Won House colours for chess.  It is not nearly as popular in Canada so I pretty much stopped playing for 25 years.  I feel like I am now back to the level I was at before and I have a goal to reach master level.  It is a difficult chore without being self employed and raising 6 kids but that's life!!
