Starting chess at 6 taught by my aunt I was unofficially coached by Antony Miles first UK GM and while he lived he constantly kept in touch. Tony could be a complicated guy yet understood he was a light soul that lived a shorter life than some but changed the UK chess scene for the good as other talented UK players did also and was a time that the English game was growing up.
