Decatur Parks and Recreation Chess Club

The chess club meets each Thursday in the Commodore Room of the Fort Decatur Recreation Center in Decatur, Alabama. We gather for casual play, good fellowship and conversation on anything chess. Each week we discuss as aspect of the game with assistance from experienced chess players. Our club was formed January 5, 2012. This Chess.Com profile was created April 13, 2012 and was created so that members of the Decatur Chess Club could play and chat regularly outside the once-a-week meetings. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
