Tournament Disqualifications
yes
but my point is that people thathave already lost -- most likely lost to a cheat so all games should be erased, not just games in progress
Can you be disqualified for bad manners on the board in a tournament? Such as not delivering an obvious checkmate multiple times in a row, and constantly sacrificing pieces?
For context, in casual games, there are a few opponents whom I troll regularly. As in, ignore obvious checkmate, sacrifice pieces. The maximum bad manners I go for is underpromoting all of my Pawns, and sacrificing everything, except for one Pawn, which I underpromote to a rook. And only then, do I deliver checkmate.
Obviously, it's cruel, and abhorrent ethically speaking. But so long as all my moves are legal, there should be bo problem, right? So, my question is, can you be disqualified for that from a tournament?

Cannot be disqualified, but watch out for 50 move rule and stalemate
No Big Deal but:
It seems to me that when a player gets disqualified from a Tournament because his account is closed due to cheating, that all his games should be forfeited and not just his unfinished games.
