What's the point in auto join links?
If someone ask you to join your club and you are out of invites, it's legit to send them an auto join link. It makes more sense in private clubs obviously.
As for why moderators don't like them, it's just because it's forbidden to post them in public forums. People might click by mistake and end up in a club they didn't want to join in the first place.

This is a question for all staff and members of Chess.com-
What's the point of auto join links for clubs? Moderators always seem to dislike them and they always spend countless hours editing them out, so why have them?
EXAMPLE ONLY!
Remember to never use auto join links.
This is an auto join link (not a real club or club link): https://www.chess.com/club/blubblubblub/join
This is a normal link (not a real club or club link): https://www.chess.com/club/blubblubblub
What I'm asking is, why are auto join links available and working if they're so disliked by staff? I'm not trying to insult moderators, and I praise them for their work, but the time spent replacing auto join links can definitely be used for better purposes, such as investigating cheaters and trolls.
Does anyone know why auto join links exist?
