Chess should have a battle pass.
Everyone starts with the default piece sets. You don't get anything else. Some free sets are unlocked, but you need to pay to get the full experience (one dollar). At the end of the battle pass, you have everything unlocked. It should not be hard to unlock tiers in the battle pass.
At the end of the season (90 days) everything is reset. All your unlocked boards disappear. You go back to green board, neo pieces. Leagues get reset, so everyone drops down to wood league again.
To increase revenue chess.com should encourage purchases with cosmetics. These cosmetics include:
- bringing back the natural animation that actually works because it literally doesn't work in the play tab. I wish live chess was back, at least it worked there.
That is the comprehensive list of cosmetics chess.com can offer (that i could think of).

Yeah that’s cool and all but when will they have the firearms dlc
I've been waiting for this. I'd also like to watch an ad before and after a game. Bonus points for an ad on the 10th move.

And I wish we could watch ads in order to get more free puzzles (Not as good as getting them completely free, but a compromising suggestion for chess.com).
I feel like you're not joking about this. Just go to lichess for that. No need to put your eggs in one basket with cc

No, I am not joking. Why would I be joking? Yes, I do lichess puzzles occasionally.
Why shouldn't I want to do more chess.com puzzles? Grinding chess.com puzzle rating is more fun than grinding lichess puzzle rating.
I don't see a notable difference, but if that's your preference then go wild
Ok, but why was this posted in "site feedback" then?
It’s sarcasm as chess.com is focused on ruining their sites that their long time members have enjoyed to rake in more dollar bills. Lichess is a non profit and if people were to stop donating then guess what, online chess will be cooked, as chess.com will have a monopoly and can make decisions which rake up more money, after all where else would you go
chesscom should hire you immediately for your insights
why buy diamond when you get them from me for free

to punish people for drawing, a draw by agreement is met with mandatory unskippable 30 second ad.
