"Major Benchmarks" not counting for puzzle points?

The last few times I've earned a "Major Benchmark" in puzzles the points don't seem to register.
I earned 75 points for achieving "150 Hard puzzles," and the points moved my total from 700 to 625. But then I click Next and the points go back up to 700.
Is this a known bug? Is there any solution?

It's a known bug and staff are aware.
