Let us make conditional moves on the app!

It's frustrating having to open the website on a PC just to make conditional moves in daily games. There's no reason this isn't available on the app

i think daily games are available on the app. But still, voting chess (still) doesn't.

Variant chess is not there also, as i think the size for "4 players game" is too small to be contained on mobile device

Daily games are available on the app, but you can't make conditional moves on the app. Conditional moves are like premoves, but for daily games. You can premove on regular games, but can't make conditional moves

It's a feature that's been requested a lot in the past. I haven't heard if it's just very low priority or isn't planned

How have they not implemented this at this point...Like what the hell lol, is it a running joke with the devs or something?

I think that they have responded previously that some things that seem easy are really not so easy to program because of the difference in the programming between the website and apps.

Please tell me of all the phone apps you have that will store multiple conditional statements and implement them if certain conditions occur. (People can play hundreds of daily games at a time. Therefore, you would have to have the ability to store hundreds of conditional statements along with each game.)

How the hell did you revive a year-old thread to complain about this... months after they've already implemented it?

That post was the Android app.

For what it's worth, I *really* appreciate this addition. I've been using it on Android for at least a couple of months now, and it IS nice not to have to go to the PC to input a conditional premove. Thank you, Chesscom staff!

This is awesome for android, seems to be lacking on iOS and needs to be added. Is there an issue with an up vote button?

I find it very annoying that for some reason, many times when I touch the Queen, it jumps to an unintended wrong position. I have lost many games by that. It is so frustrating that I consider stop playing chess online.

You can turn on "Confirm each move" in the settings to avoid this.
