Completely agree. I can’t believe they keep making excuses regarding this issue. I’ve seen Trash, sawdof, bluey, and others make similar threads, and they make excuses saying they can’t pay their moderators at all.
Maybe we’ve finally caught their attention, and maybe they’re actually trying to do something about this. They’ve said they are, so let’s hope that they finally come up with something rather soon,
Irresponsible and negligent to lock multiple serious feedback topics without a relevant response

One can hope. It should be noted however, they said they were doing something about the troll problem, they didn't respond directly to the questions about moderator pay as far as I saw, the only person who did respond was a former cc moderator who said it wasn't feasible but didn't explain why
ohh yea, and also, chess.com is very infamous for banning ordinary people like us. They just ban for no reason at all. If they would have paid attention towards banning the Trolls, then the problem would be solved.
4 of my friends recently were banned by chess, com for abuse falsely. Just because someone who hates that person mass reports them and chess.com blindly bans them without even asking for a specific amount of proof is ridiculous.
And also, i would like to add on that, the support team is terrible at responding to our queries at times. When we send a email to the support of chess.com, they say they will take 2 to 3 business days, but most of the times 2 to 3 days never end for them, takes about a week or a month to get one answer,
The best defense is to ignore and report them and wait to see if Chess.com does anything. I started a=my own club just to combat trolling and give people a safe space from them, it has gotten so bad.
Actually that's not true......post 5....." So, i can clearly see how well they are moderating now". Both the Staff & moderation team are deleting content by idiot box and others quicker than ever because now they know what patterns to look for.
Rn baby is posting again, you know the drill guys... Ignore and report, or the motto I use is:
R-Report
I-Ignore
G-Get others to do the same

If @rufusmod is on in such situations he handled one rather quick, so message him

Good advice @WTFrickenA
If anyone has any questions regarding moderation feel free to DM me to discuss.
....it's also a good idea to keep on one's bio so they quicklike can seek out the online mods at the NEEDED time. I've made it my first link available there to turn to

#1 I absolutely agree, Will. The mod team has a lot of responsibility, especially in these times. They deserve more than appreciation.
Yep. Hopefully chess.com is working on ways to limit or stop trolling on the forums. They said they were working on something.
