FEATURE REQUEST: Give users an option in their Settings to block all rematch requests.
WHY: The forums are littered with threads about rematch etiquette. Different people have different feelings on the topic, but one repeatedly-requested idea is to give users the ability to automatically block rematch requests. That won't solve all issues with rematch-related frustrations, but it will put a big dent in it.
The simple way to implement it:
.... Allow rematch requests? (Yes) (no)
The better way, since some players find rematch requests by a winning player to be rude, would be:
.... Allow rematch requests? (Always) (Never) (Only when my opponent won the last game) (Only when my opponent lost the last game)
Chess.com staff surely have their own opinions about rematch etiquette, and might personally have no interest in automatically blocking rematch requests, but surely it's important to consider that how USERS feel might be different than what staff prefers. Does this site exist to serve its users or not?
