Clock bug in the app

I’ve been playing online chess since June 2020 and it has seemed to work fine. But recently I played 2 games and the time control just went bad. The time control on my app went wrong while I was playing. It takes time away from me and gives it to my opponent. I believe I have lost rating unfairly and should be compensated by chess.com. Has that happened to anyone else?

Heesook same thing happened to me my opponents clock stoped and when it started I lost the time I lost 2 games my rating went down I sent chess. Com an email no response I’m added to play a game

I have been dealing with feozen clock and gama also ... and It stops on my opponent turn and after a while it turns the win to my opponent....
I am not glad with this at all....
I will just cancel my premium acc if keep like this rubish

Ever since the update both clocks have paused and I’ve had to restart the app to get things to start again. Very buggy.

Yep I’m new to site. Both clocks seem to freeze in certain games on my opponents clock and I lose. It never reverts back to me.

It too have lost the last two games (at least first of which was winning) by flagging, out of nowhere, even though my clock showed I wasn’t even close to out of time. Playing on iPad. Very frustrating, can’t finish a game and just keep getting losses. :(

Same here. Just got flagged even though i had made my move. I got disconnected from site the whole game but at the most crucuial when i had win in 2 moves connection died. Is this a new bug or known?

opponent abandoned game, then the auto-resign timer ran out and still didnt end the game. very annoying when im playing 30 min

Keeps happening, it seems to unfreeze itself when you offer a draw. Still very frustrating. Please fix this bug chess.com.

Same here. I made my move, both clocks freeze and after a while it’s game over, I loose and see that my last move I did, was not accepted. Lost because I’m out of time.

Same here. It has happened several times this month and seems more frequent in the last days. Is there any answer from chess.com? For premium subscriptions, the fee is not acceptable with such a bug.

Clocks freezing a lot lately. If you close the app and reopen it, seems to solve the issue. But playing Blitz, this is costing me way too much time and a number of losses

My app keeps freezing. Doesn’t register my move correctly. After my move and you have to watch that your opponents clock has started. Please fix this issue. It’s been around for the last few weeks!

Yep same and no reply from them when i queried - how come chess.com dont post responses on here - i loved the app until thisstarted happening, every day to me now 🙁

This freezing clock issue is really frustrating. It happens each game now in the last days. I found that the only way to unblock it is to propose a draw, which is very unconvenient, but alternatively you just loose out of time. Are they going to fix it or what shall we do to continue play normally? This is indeed an unacceptable bug... it makes playing pointless
