Hi, I had a chess.net profile in the early 90s (same handle) and it got me thinking, what happened to chess.net? Did it fold? Did chess.com buy chess.net and if so, is there a way of recovering the .net profile? Any info/background would be greatly appreciated.

yea, me too i wonder about it. i tried to look and type chess.net, there isnt any. it was in the 1990s
