Anyone experienced a move you didn’t make?!

I just completed a game where I was moving in for checkmate and I was about to utilise a bishop. The moment I was about to play it my knight moved to a terrible position. I did not even touch it.
I mentioned this in the chat to my opponent and he said it had happened to him too in the opening game. I moved a pawn to the centre of the board and in the tiniest fraction of a second his bishop moved to where that pawn could take it. It felt like the game was hacked and someone who was watching threw in two random moves to cause chaos. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s worrying. I’m playing via the iPhone App.

If you have premoves on, could have been an accidental premove.

I don’t have premoves on. I didn’t even know that was a thing - so very unlikely I think.

This happened in a tournament when I moved and hit the check mark, but when I came back it played a completely different move.

The same recently happened in one of my daily matches. So confusing...

A completly "nonsense move" was made while I slept. Support could not really explain how this could happen, maybe technical issues with the app. Frustrating...

Happened to me earlier tonight!

Here's the link. End of 17th moves. I am white.

My next move was bishop c1 to g5 to threaten the opponents queen. However the computer moved my queen back to e1! An absolute non-move as it was giving away the knight on f3. I couldn't believe what I saw on my computer screen! It put me in a position where I lost in two further moves. You will see in my 'move 19' that the computer finally kicked in my previous desired move (which was not my intention then!) and gave the opponent an unassailable checkmate. Not a happy bunny!

Ongoing issue apparently...same thing just happened to me.

In this game, my opponent played bishop takes bishop. I immediately took back with my Queen. The game does not show this and instead shows a Knight move to F3, which I never made. It then appears that I placed my Queen on the blank D3 square and said, "here, take my queen for free".

No premoves were made during this game.

Has happened to me also. Completely ruined an even game each time. And looking at the moves and positions in your game, I think there's no way anyone would have made those last two white moves.
