Meh I didn't do the traditional route and t still took me like 2 years on chess.com to get to 2200 half of it is being able to learn from your mistakes and analyze your own games without using stockfidh (and then looking at it after but I always play dumber when I use stockfish )
And figuring out what openings work at your level and what makes your opponents blunder (contrary to bots that automatically blunder you can force humans to blunder but they won't always blunder back and emotions have a role in moves )
Also defensive skillzzz important being able to hold or win down a piece or more =good
If your stuck at your ratig try something new play goofy openings ,play new gambits ,play weird positions ,make different blunders than you used to ,or change your playing style (like keeping more pieces on the board and being annoying or attacking more /less )
Studying can be important and helpful but it isn't needed saying "zero" work is a bit disingenuous because you still have to put hours into chess even if there's no studying one of the most important skills is figuring out what your doing wrong (yes I'm giving free advice to a 1800 that's trying to coach )
And yes the guy did put in about 1000+ hours onto chess just like I did 😂 lol typicaly 1000 is a good number for chess
If you pay me the same amount of money I will safeguard your progress to 2000 with the improvment that I'm actually rated 2000+ and know how to improve continuously.
i will share some of my almighty chess power to some of you underlings. just dm me and i will share my skill. if u dont trust me look at the username

If you're stuck at your rating, try something new. Play unconventional openings, explore new gambits, and experiment with unusual positions. Make different mistakes than you used to, and change your playing style—keep more pieces on the board to be more annoying or adjust your level of aggression. By varying your approach, you can discover new strategies and improve your overall game.
