This sounds like a dating profile somewhat. lol
My game.
Yes, you should find a coach or a club. Ask your parents to help you find a club or a coach. I dont know how you guys do in North Carolina, but here in Denmark, we have a list of all clubs. Maby you have such a list to?
There are 3 coaches in the state, 1 of them is me (I teach basics). The nearest is a couple hours away. They closest club is 50 miles away. I am like in the chess dead zone.

Wow..
Then i guess you gotta stick to the internet. Try find a chess coach here:
Be choached over skype, playchess, icc, here on chess.com or so. At you level, you have to find a coach!
Good luck!
I am a 13 year old chess player. I learned chess when I was 7 1/2 years old, but rarely played then because I lost every single time (unless I was playing somebody younger). So I gave it up. I now play very often on chess.com. Our middle school might get a chess team but this is my last year of middle school. I might be the only one on my team. (That would be bad.) Anyways, my online rating is 799, and I need to get better. If anybody knows a good chess team or club in eastern North Carolina or a good coach in eastern North Carolina, or if you have some advice for me, it would be very appreciated. Thank you!
