If you do end up posting, I would just like to thank you!

You're in the right place. I teach chess for a living in a number of public schools as well as privately. I'm a USCF member but don't play tournament games. I was just awarded a writing grant to create a chess book for troubled teens. I don't play tournaments because with close to 170 students, I just don't have the time. I think that many people here don't have FIDE ratings. Have people submit a 500 word article on a single topic, say "To Accept a Gambit or Reject it." It sounds like you have a great idea, just keep searching out people here on chess.com. If you get good instructional material, titled players will take notice and become involved. I've written a few articles on tactics and sold them to websites for content.
Hey everybody! I've been looking for higher-rated chess players that can give out good advice. I own a blog where I create weekly articles, puzzles and quizzes. However, I am thinking about starting a new feature: Monthly Lesson: Take It From the Best. I will try and get different authors for the lessons every month. If I can't, then I'll stay with the player that I have at the moment.
Here's how it'll work:
1) First off, post what you will write about and your FIDE rating. I will most likely choose a high-rated player, but you never know.
2) If I choose you, then I will send you a message.
3) Once you receive it, reply back and include your article within the message.
4) I will then post your article on my blog, along with your name and rating as credit.
I will try and choose new players to teach every month. If I am unable to find one, however, then I will send you a message. If you are willing to write again, then reply back as you did before.
Thank you!
