don’t celebrate now, to celebrate you MUST be the best and only the very best. That is the Eastern Way (world is divided into west (USA, UK, France…) and the East (Russia, China, Poland…))

Poland is "the East?" When did that happen?

The region they inhabit used to be called "Mitteleuropa".
It was "moved west" after World War II.
They speak a "West Slavic" language.
They write in the Latin Alphabet.
They are Catholic, not Orthodox.

It is East from Berlin so it is in the East

so your point?

It's always been east of Berlin. So what's your point? Everything east of Berlin is the Orient? Hey, if Japan and China are in the East, why would I fly west to get to them?

Take a paper map with Europe at the centre you will see that Eastern Europe,Asia and Oceanania are all east from berlin, this is also because of history and the iron curtain.

and you fly west because airlines want to save money and time by flying the quickest route possible

A paper map of Europe??? Who decides to put what in the center? Usually, most of European Russia is just cut off as being mainly uninhabited nothing. If you start the Europe/Asia split at the Ural Mountains, Poland is west of the center line. Poland is most definitely in the Western "Kulturkreis." Even during the period of the "iron curtain" Berlin was the Warsaw Pact capital of the DDR and so close to Poland. A cousin of mine in Berlin drives to Poland to load up his car with cheap cigarettes and whiskey.
