I'm the Council Leader of my school and I plan to conduct trails for a chess competition online, using no funds. I want them to be able to join with my organizations id and play a sepcific number of matches before getting ranked. Is this possible to do using chess.com for free or should I turn over to lichess?

I'd say if you're doing stuff for free, Lichess is a lot more easier to run tournaments on without any worries about membership etc.

Determine the format of the competition. Will it be a single elimination tournament, round-robin, or some other format? The https://essay-reviewer.com/proessaywriting-com-review/ย  explain Choose a date and location for the competition. It's a good idea to choose a date well in advance to give students time to sign up and prepare.

If you are a high school would you be interested in joining the Student Led Chess Association? We help to bring chess clubs together for tournaments, scrimmages if you wish, and other charity tournaments. Depending where you are we may already have a league in your area, or will establish one in the future. This can be a great way for you to coordinate with other schools and organize such tournaments and expansion. This way we can help you organize these tournaments as they come up to improve logistics. There will be no fee and allow this to be free as well. However, I would recommend Chess.com tournaments if you wish for easy setup and practice. Which is also a good chance for you to join the SLCA chess.com club to play on Wacky Wednesday for further competition and play.
