What are the usual followups here? I dont know this variation very well... Please tell :)

Is it in one of your current games? If so, you should not seek advice on what move to play as is is considered unethical.

 According to his profile, he doesn't play turn-based here. So it's OK to ask for advice. In my opinion, the best answer to the variation given (known as the Scotch Game) is 3. dxe4 which relieves the threat on the e5 pawn.

Thank you Number2, im going to look into this much further.. If anyone would like to add - I would be most thankful!

I play this often as white. The main move after dxe4 is Nxe4. Black should not capture with his knight here as white can recapture with his queen in the center of the board where it is hard to move away. Instead black should play either Bc5 or Nf3.
