chessboard program

I am teaching chess a group of 15 students. I need a chessboard to be hanged on the wall with magneted pieces. it is a bit expensive.So I am wondering whether there is a software which can be cleared at any time and you can add any piece you want to board to show a special position or a tactic.

I will be so grateful if you do me a favour. Thanks in advance.

Scid should work well, there is a feature that lets you setup the board from any position you want:
