Three Brilliant Moves in a Row!

Sort:
Graywing13

I created a puzzle where you have to find three brilliant moves IN A ROW (all other moves give white a decent advantage).

Can you solve it?

EKAFC

That's a really tough one

Such a puzzle would receive a near 3000 rating on chess.com because it requires strong game play. It is not that interesting though by lack of an interesting idea. If engines ruled the world they would challenge one another on this type of puzzles all day long! wink.png

It’s actually pretty hard

bxf3... if he takes with knight your straight up winning with Rxg2+ Kh1 Qxe4. its probably mate in a few moves too. if he takes with bishop than its perpetual check paradise with the moves, Rxg2+ Kh1 Rxh2+ Kxh2 Qc7+ Kh3 Qd7+ Kh2 Qc7+ and if he goes to h1 or h2 Qg3 and he cant do anything to stop Qg3+ Qh3+ perpetual. If he goes to h4 than hes lost with g5+ Kg3 Qc7+ Kf2 Qh2+ Ke1 Nc2+ Kd1 Nxa3 with the queen fork. I saw the first and second move and then after around 5 minutes I realized it was a perpetual check puzzle

And what about THIS ONE?!

This could be found in the first 5 moves...

Actually the brilliant moves are not that difficult to find because you just need to lose three exchanges.

(post #12) Plus that there are at least 4 alternatives for the third brilliancy of about the same eval score. If you are not looking for trouble, 5.Nd3! is a great move.
