GUYS MY APOLIGIES, I GAVE YOU A PUZZLE THAT HAS MANY WAYS TO WIN; JUST FIND ONE OF THE MANY WAYS TO WIN! THE POSITION IS POSSIBLE, BUT BOTH OPPONENTS HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIVE THIS POSITION.

The position is legal

but it's not possible in an actual game even by 500s

I would not call it possible unless yeah both opponents worked together but that'd have to be in a casual setting, not online or otb (tournament)

The final position is not hard to see, but working out how to force it without the king having a chance for repeat position draw -- that's what makes this one quite tough. My short term memory isn't great but I could swear I managed to give him forced moves the whole way, ( which I didn't think would be possible) ... (incidentally making this puzzle quite valid , IMHO). May have to work this again later to be sure. Anyway, S p o i l e r A l e r t : This mate can only be delivered as a discovered check, and I needed to sac 2 bishops at a1 in the process. Did anyone's mileage vary on that last point?

When I first found out white can checkmate, I was stunned. But as a analyzed a bit, and watched a video, I noticed that 2 bishops can indeed be saced on a1. It's more of a pattern that'll guide you to a solution to checkmate in indeed, 9 moves.
