Make it shortened.

Don't make low effort posts and demand effort in response.

Ok, sorry

@6905

The original idea of this thread in post #1 was:

  1. A person posts a position
  2. A person posts a proof game
  3. A person shortens it
  4. The person who posts the shortest proof game posts a new position.

So far you have posted 3 FEN and I have provided 3 proof games.
So now these 3 proof games should be shortened.

Sorry to hear your chess skills are so bad then.

that's just rude!!!

sorry i'm just posting another message so I can see BigDoggProblem's thing

@BigDoggProblem your puzzle is impossible (i think) because the white king has to come in from the back, but it can't because if it does, the black bishop must leave, but that means playing g6, which means the white rook has to be on h7, so that after be5 kh6 is played, but then the white rook is stuck and can't get in, eg ...rd8 rh8 and the queen has to not kick out the white king.

i'm getting myself muddled up lol

hey @cobra91 does that mean I get the next turn?

JugglingJellyJester

this might be impossible

@cobra91 is inactive so we don't really enforce the turn rule anymore.

Indeed it is. White needs wayyyy more pieces for black to capture.

Very inefficient legality proof:

You know, you guys are crazy good at this.

A slightly quicker proof game in 49.0. It is less inefficient, but might not be optimal.

@6918

I think it is optimal. Here is an alternative.

Indeed, considering that if it turns out one piece couldn't get where it needed to go they have to start from scratch.

BigDoggProblem

Trying for one that takes longer than my last one, which was 49.0 moves.
