What's going on with the disappearances from the leader boards?
I know, right? It's most probably because the accounts that were on it, haven't played Survival in ages. After a little while they 'drop off' the leaderboard. When/if they play again it will only put up whatever they got on that run, not their best. I don't know why.
On a personal level, I think why people don't do it that much nowadays is because they see me and think 'Why bother doing it when he comes and does that, and they (Chess.com) don't do anything about it. Regarding thinking I cheated etc. 😪😢
How did you got 1015? Even GMs are only at 200 at survival
I can do up to 610 in one day/time (usually 8+ hours). I have the time and resources to be on the computer for this long every day due to I have Cerebral Palsy I am in a power chair and I use an Eye-Gaze computer, so I don't even have to get myself food or drink or even leave my office in my house to go to the toilet (maybe TMI).
I have done puzzles for a long time, and I tend not to play any Bullet, Blitz or Rapid games because (frankly) I get very much board with standard chess! I've started playing Rapid games to see if I can get my spark back for regular chess. I play odd unrated daily games, where I try out some unusual moves to see if they are good. Puzzles are very much my bread and butter when it comes to chess.
But, to be fair GMs play regular chess 95% of the time. If they translated into puzzles for that all of the time, like I do then they would achieve my results.
I find puzzles from the 50 to 95 mark the most tricky because of the large 'puzzle pool' the database can pull from. From 95 onwards the pool is much more niece, for example: I have 6 puzzles that are rated 4000 (the maximum of a puzzle) and I find them the easiest, one's is a one move for goodness sake! The puzzle just repeats in sets so the key is to memorize them and soon you'll find that it is not chess but more memory.
survivor
i hundred percent believe the greatest survivor on the site in puzzles and in life in general get real
Whatever I say, you won't change your mind. All I know is, that I did it legit, Chess.com/Fair Play has confirmed/verified it. Clearly, people don't look at my profile in depth.
You managed to do that 1 year after your account was made. Amazing
Not really. There's something called the 'past'... Or learning chess/puzzles other than solely on Chess.com. Yeah, the other things don't have the same calibre of puzzles, but it's not hard to learn puzzles, especially the top end of the rating scale (3700 -4000) that I get time and again when I am doing my Survival runs.
The fair play policy is about playing, not solving puzzles, so yes, it is in full compliance with their fair play policy (even if you cheat). https://www.chess.com/legal/fair-play
As for completing it "fairly and correctly" they have no way of checking that, so their "confirmation" of that is worthless... and this is assuming you didn't create that image.
Your history of cheating makes you untrustworthy.
Chess.com does crack down on puzzle cheaters too https://support.chess.com/en/articles/8583921-what-counts-as-cheating-on-chess-com
So if the fair-play team verified it, that's all that needs to be said.
I was intrigued by the puzzle survival record to the point that I looked up the record holders previous attempts. What I don't understand is how JosephReidNZ has a high number of failures in the 600-1000 puzzle rating range on previous attempts, i.e. puzzle number 6? Also, the scores for the timed attempts are unimpressive - why is this? There could be a perfectly logical explanation (I for one often play after a few drinks and can crash and burn spectacularly).

95% of the time with the lower ones I go way too fast, and since I'm using Eye-Gaze, I've got it set to 0.2 secs of the dwelling time (AKA clicking). I want to get more tricky puzzles, so I just way too quickly.
My friend record in puzzle rush is 1100
