I can vouch, as a first hand witness that GIJS VAN BREUKELEN is the one and only author of this beauty.
I made no contribution whatsoever to this jewel but I was one of the "friends" the article is referring too. (see link)
In fact, at the time I knew James Plaskett too. I could tell some stories......
If I ever see him again I will severely confront him with not clearly stating that it was NOT his composition.

The puzzle only lets me do one move and then it says I’ve solved it and won’t let me move again
Interesting how engines cant see Bc2+, but as soon as its played they re-evaluate the position as winning.
It was so easy!
Took me 30 minutes to solve with 2 retries Got the first 4 moves in my mind right after I saw the puzzle the only thing which Was hard to get was the pawn promotion only to get forked but I did that too after a a retry and then just moving the bishop around for the checkmate that was kinda easy I believe it was definitely hard for players that time to solve this puzzle No wonder it took weeks for some
