New Puzzle version Aug 2024

The puzzle format upgrade is insulting and annoying. Please go back to the prior format or at least allow us to see our running score as before.

Can we please choose which layout we want? I hate the new one.

Has anyone noticed the puzzles being quite a bit harder than previously?

The puzzles are the exact same. There's only one puzzle database.

I agree with the comments from other users. Please roll back.

I’m intrigued at the puzzle ratings with regard to standard , hard or extra hard . Just done , what I thought was a reasonably complicated 8 move puzzle - plenty of room to make one move the computer didn’t like , rated as standard , then a couple later , a 3 move one , with only 1 possible reasonable line , rated extra hard !

I agree that I would like to be able to see my puzzle rating on the puzzles page. I care about that more than my total points and tier.

There does seem to be a bug. I just completed a level and it just moved to the next one without dis passing the animation of the piece moving one step forward. That's not a big deal, but when I click the icon to see the journey it piece is still on the old level.

Why the "coach" in problems ? It doesnt give anything except angry... This was the only mode i played in this app, but i have already stop my abonnement because of this useless update !! Think you for nothing !!

Why all this changes ? It was good before the last update, now everything is exchanged and not for better place !! Seriously, why you just dont keep what is working well ? There was lot of possible improvment (knowing the number of moves wanted, or the goal : if it is for check mate, or for position or only for pieces exchange), but instead you change the button places and add a ugly useless graphic.... What a job !!!

Yes the new puzzle lay out with the guy staring/talking to you along with the big red or green X or check is just distracting and unnecessary. Had a great lay out already but now I don't even want to do puzzles because it's got to many distracting aspects that weren't there before. Please change back

The new interface is awful. I'm on a galaxy fold and half the screen is taking up by that annoying coach guy. And where's my rating gone?

Worst upgrade ever. Omg--stupid loser guy Sita there always. Chess.com, stop easting OUR money on pointless upgrades...don't use these worthless updates to raise our membership

There's a new iOS app update that has the coach removed for now.

Give us the option to use the old puzzles format in settings. I hate not seeing the changes to rating anymore.

Just go to More-Puzzles and toggle off Collect Puzzle Points.

New interface is horrible. Time to switch to Lichess.
