U.S. Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura, age 19, just won a very strong tournament in Barcelona with an Elo performance of over 2900. Nakamura became the youngest chess master in US history at the age of 10 years and 2 months (beating out Jordy Mont-Reynaud and Vinay Bhat). He became a Grandmaster at the age of 15 years and 79 days, the youngest American to become a Grandmaster (beating out Bobby Fischer). In 2004, at the age of 16, he won the US Chess Championship, the 2nd youngest to win it (Fischer won it at age 14). In this position, he finds a nice combination that leads to a win.
