How defend against queen opposite of castle

Hi,

What is it called when the queen stands opposite of the castle (2nd or 7th column) and the bishop takes the side pawn (1st or 8th column) such that the pawn behind (2nd or 7th column) can’t take the bishop because that would check the king? If it has a name.

And more importantly - what’s the preferred way to defend against it?

Gratefully

It's a simple binding that, as far as I know, has no name of its own. But it is indeed an important tactical motive.

To defend: Depending on the situation, the danger can be stopped in several ways. For example, the king can move to the side (out of the bind) or a piece can be placed in front of the binded pawn to release the bind.
