Hardest tactic ever!!!!!
I have something against puzzles like this, because they aren't provided along with the information needed to solve them. Has the king or the rook moved or not? Still, nice one!
Press the analyse button, bottom left, and the interactive will tell you. But what was the point of this?
This is a good puzzle because since there's no conventional checkmate, given that there's a mate in 1 logic dictates that castling is available - so it is not based on assumption. O-O-O is the answer.
I don't like solving chess puzzles but sometimes I have a go at them. I looked at that and couldn't find the answer at all. Later I realised that I didn't get the answer because there is approximately zero chance that the position could possibly arise in a properly conducted game of chess. Castling rights would have been lost and so the answer didn't occur to me. Obviously, in a real game a player would know they still had castling rights.
