This mating pattern should not be attempted from this position.  The Knight on c6 throws a wrench in White's plans.  After 1.Nxe5 Nxe5, Black is up a piece for a pawn and White's Queen is still en prise.  This should be played only if Black knights are not on c6 or f6.  In that case, after dxe5, White is a pawn up and is building strong pressure.

yes very dangerous for white, unless black is thick.

you could play b4, then b5. but this  gives black more reaction time
