On puzzle battle my rating is 1618 and on puzzels (in general) I am 1900s, and my best survival is only 28
does 34 in survival puzzle rush seem right for 1000 rated player?
Is 42 for a 1400 alright?
Given how many puzzles you'd played, I'd say it's good. I'm lower rated than you and my best is 49 but I've played 10x the puzzles you have and 1/10th the games, but guess I'm 2-3x as old. I need to play so many puzzles because I'm older than dirt and I'm slow to get better at calculating. So you getting to 42 quickly is impressive when compared to me.
my best survival is 34
I'm not sure. My rapid rating is just under 2000 and my best puzzle rush survival is 53, so surely a rating of 1000 should correspond to a puzzle rush survival of 26.5.
Ha! Just kidding.
To be serious, the time available for the puzzles in survival mode makes it more related to standard time controls than rapid - i.e. up to minutes per move if you need it. My best survival runs have taken more than an hour. This is similar to rated puzzles, where puzzles around your rating can take minutes to solve (I have found). I would say that the slow analysis is also related to daily chess skill (although there you can use an analysis board, unlike for puzzles).
my best survival is 34
