The West Orange Chess Club's hours have been extended to Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM!
The later closing time will allow the club to lengthen the time control for the upper sections (or perhaps just the Open Section) of our slow time control tournaments to Game 90 with 5 second delay before every move. This should help to increase the quality of the games in the upper section(s).
The club intends on keeping the faster time control of G75 d5 for the young kids' section(s) so their games will still end at a more reasonable time.
