Chess tournament prizes

Ok, so there is a tournament in my area that's coming up pretty soon. I am playing in the U1100 section and there is a U800 prize in the section, along with the others. The U800 prize is $150, and I fall into the U800 section (because I sold completely last tournament). But I have been full on grinding chess and I feel I have a great shot at 1st place. The prize for 1st place in the U1100 section is $400, and 2nd is $250. If I were to win 1st or 2nd place, would I get the U800 prize as well? Or would the U800 prize go to another U800 person that did not place 1st or 2nd?

Only one prize can be claimed by a person and you'll get the highest amount you qualify for.
